Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Operations Leader

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Chief Operating Officer to partner with our President & CEO in scaling Into Languages Global in a disciplined, sustainable, and technology‑enabled manner. The COO will drive execution, alignment, and operational excellence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Customer Experience & Operations, Scheduling & Service Delivery, Interpreter Recruitment & Compliance, Finance & Accounting (operational oversight), Administrative Infrastructure, Technology & Internal Systems.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and drive execution across functions.
• Develop accountability frameworks, implement KPIs and dashboards, and ensure consistent performance monitoring.
• Lead cross‑functional coordination and organizational alignment to support growth.

Required profile

• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, general management, or related executive roles.
• Proven ability to lead managers, supervisors, and cross‑functional teams.
• Successful track record implementing KPIs, dashboards, accountability systems, and performance‑management frameworks.
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with experience in process improvement and organizational transformation.
• Solid business acumen and financial literacy, including budgeting, operational planning, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
• Experience with business systems, technology platforms, automation tools, and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
