Business Development Manager

About the role
DSV is looking for a Business Development Manager to grow its logistics portfolio in Guayaquil and surrounding areas. You will generate new commercial opportunities, expand existing accounts, and promote integrated import and export solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new customers (hunting).
- Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients (farming).
- Sell Ocean Freight and Air Freight solutions.
- Manage the commercial pipeline and meet profitability KPIs.
- Coordinate closely with operational teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required profile
- University degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in freight forwarding.
- Proven sales and business development track record.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
Required skills
- Export/Import knowledge.
- Incoterms.
- International trade routes and logistics.
- Integrated logistics services.
- CRM systems.
- Microsoft Office.
