About the role

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at PAIPA CAFETERIA in Quito immediately. The role supports the chef with food preparation, kitchen upkeep, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the chef in preparing ingredients and dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Support inventory management and basic stock replenishment.
• Help coordinate workflow during busy service periods.

Required profile

• Minimum technical or professional education in culinary arts.
• At least one year of practical kitchen experience.
• Strong organizational abilities and teamwork orientation.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to service demands.
