SEO Coordinator

About the role

Verndale is seeking an SEO Coordinator to support search‑engine optimization initiatives across multiple client accounts. The role involves executing day‑to‑day SEO tasks, monitoring performance, and translating analytics into actionable recommendations that improve search visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research, on‑page optimization, and technical SEO audits.
• Monitor site performance, analyze key metrics, and present results to clients.
• Create clear deliverables and recommendations aligned with client strategies.
• Troubleshoot SEO issues and provide tangible solutions.
• Collaborate with account teams and other digital marketing disciplines.
• Stay up to date on SEO tools, platforms, and algorithm changes.
• Deliver regular reporting with insights, context, and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, information systems, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and ranking platforms.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint (or Looker) skills.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications (nice to have).
