Senior SDET – Gaming Industry

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who thrives on problem‑solving, debugging, and investigative work. This programming‑focused QA position is centered on building automated tests and enhancing test infrastructure for our gaming products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end automated tests for new features.
• Maintain, expand, and improve the existing automated test suite.
• Debug and investigate issues across systems to identify root causes and prevent regressions.
• Review test code and approaches from peers, providing constructive feedback.
• Analyze requirements, specifications, and design documents to spot risks early.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and other stakeholders from planning through delivery.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities across initiatives.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor team members and help improve QA practices and processes.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Engineer with a strong focus on automated testing.
• Strong programming skills, comfortable working in code daily.
• Hands‑on experience writing automated tests using TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience with Java in a testing or development context.
• Experience in gaming or similarly complex, real‑time product environments.
• Ability to work independently and communicate progress, risks, and priorities clearly.
• Upper‑intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
