QA Automation Engineer – 6-Month Project

About the role

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join a fast‑paced technology company on a six‑month contract. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated functional test cases using Playwright and JavaScript.
• Contribute to end‑to‑end testing strategies and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to identify and validate test scenarios.
• Debug, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks and test coverage.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Help ensure product quality across releases and deployments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in QA automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Understanding of functional, regression, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Advanced English proficiency.
