Junior IT Project Manager

About the role

Nearshore Consulting is looking for a Junior IT Project Manager with fluent English to support the planning, execution, and delivery of technology‑driven projects in a near‑shore environment. You will act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring projects meet scope, timeline, and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, defining scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
• Track performance using KPIs, milestones, and progress reports.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and structured project meetings such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and status reviews.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, risk management, and change control processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, maintaining clear communication across clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help develop project management best practices and SOPs.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2) with strong written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and ability to learn new tools quickly.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Atlassian suite tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Familiarity with project and portfolio management platforms such as Monday.com, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Trello.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum practices.
