Systems & DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & On-Prem Infrastructure (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Systems & DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work closely with designers and engineers, delivering reliable on‑prem and cloud infrastructure while supporting critical web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers in enterprise production environments.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot TCP/IP networking, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, firewalls and SSL/TLS.
• Manage enterprise load balancers, preferably F5 BIG‑IP.
• Maintain virtualized hosts, clusters and resource pools.
• Implement and support SAN storage solutions such as Pure Storage.
• Support LAMP stack components (Apache, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB) and NoSQL databases like Couchbase.
• Deploy and manage container workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Write Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Operate AWS and hybrid‑cloud environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and monitoring stacks (Grafana, Prometheus).
• Automate tasks with Bash, Python and Ansible scripts.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, systems or network engineering.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
