Solutions & Data Engineer – Specialist II

About the role

ChildFund is looking for a hands‑on Solutions & Data Engineer (Specialist II) to build the technical foundations for data across the organisation. Working within the Microsoft ecosystem, the role will design, develop and govern data solutions that support current operations and future AI‑driven initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable, well‑governed data solutions.
• Design, build, test and release data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure data engineering services.
• Develop and maintain AI components with Azure AI and Power Platform.
• Create and manage APIs and integration flows to connect internal and external systems.
• Support the design of agent‑based workflows that improve delivery consistency and auditability.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure solutions meet quality and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in end‑to‑end data engineering and solution delivery.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a disciplined software engineering approach.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience working in hybrid environments and delivering under structured roadmaps.
