About the role

World technology is looking for a Technical Assistant to join its onsite support team in Quito. The role focuses on the maintenance and troubleshooting of computer networks, PCs, printers, and security camera systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for network, PC, printer, and security camera issues.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on hardware and software.
• Update firmware, drivers, and system software as required.
• Document all service actions and maintain accurate equipment logs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal system performance.

Required profile

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent technical education.
• At least one year of hands‑on experience with networks, PCs, printers, or security systems.
• Age between 18 and 25 years.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to travel when necessary and hold a valid driver’s license for motorcycles and cars.
