About the role
Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will assist our talent pool by resolving platform issues and ensuring a smooth application experience.
Key responsibilities
- Respond promptly to support requests from talent using the Mercor platform.
- Triage and investigate reported issues by analyzing telemetry data, inspecting network requests, querying the database, and troubleshooting browser problems.
- Consolidate insights and recommend product improvements based on support trends.
- Create and maintain talent‑facing documentation to address common questions.
- Communicate solutions in clear, near‑perfect English while maintaining a positive attitude.
Required profile
- 2–5 years of experience supporting customers on modern web applications.
- Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience building web apps (React, Node, Flask, Next.js, etc.).
- Experience working on SaaS‑based products.
- Familiarity with support platforms such as Zendesk, Intercom, Help Scout, Freshdesk or Crisp.

What we offer
- Contract position with a compensation range of $40,000–$50,000 per year.
- Fully remote work arrangement.
