CloudOps Engineer

About the role

Algoworks is seeking a CloudOps Engineer to join its Cloud Operations team. The role focuses on maintaining the reliability, performance, and scalability of cloud platforms that support customer‑facing applications. You will work closely with Engineering, Security, and Product teams to automate infrastructure and improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and support cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS.
• Maintain high‑availability, performance, and scalability of production and non‑production environments.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, incident response, and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform and standardize provisioning processes.
• Monitor systems with observability tools such as Datadog and Grafana, diagnosing and resolving reliability issues.
• Ensure compliance with SLA commitments, change‑management procedures, and security best practices.
• Document runbooks, procedures, and contribute to clear communication across teams.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in cloud operations or related roles.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
• Experience with on‑call rotations and incident management.
• Strong focus on automation, documentation, and continuous improvement.
