About the role
We are seeking a talented and results‑driven Key Account Manager to lead and expand strategic relationships with key customers in Ecuador. The role focuses on the telecommunications and ICT sector, requiring strong industry contacts and a proven record of managing complex B2B accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for key accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision‑makers.
- Develop and execute account strategies aligned with both customer and ZTE business objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, including upselling and cross‑selling ZTE solutions.
- Lead commercial negotiations, proposals, pricing discussions, and contract renewals.
- Work closely with presales, technical, delivery, finance, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, manage risks, and handle escalations effectively.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to support strategic positioning.
- Prepare forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development within the telecommunications or ICT industry.
- Proven experience managing key telecom accounts or strong existing relationships within the telecom sector (highly preferred).
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to manage complex solutions and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Results‑oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Advanced English and fluent Spanish.
