Future DevOps/SRE Opportunities – Ecuador

About the role

We are looking for talented DevOps/SRE professionals to join our growing Ecuador team. Although we are not hiring for a specific position today, we want to build a pipeline of candidates who share our passion for high‑quality code, automation, and cloud‑native solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and support release processes.
• Automate build and release pipelines in pre‑production and production environments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot cloud‑based infrastructure on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Collaborate with development and product owners to design scalable deployment solutions.
• Contribute to security, compliance and infrastructure hardening initiatives.

Required profile

• Advanced spoken and written English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE or similar role.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Containerisation with Docker.
• Scripting/automation: Python, Ruby or Perl.
• CI/CD tools and practices.
• Linux system administration and Bash shell.
• Networking concepts (OSI layers, firewalls, subnets, DNS, TCP/IP).
• Infrastructure security (firewall, WAF, VPN, hardening).
• Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Version control with Git (branching/merging).
