Telecommunications Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Telecommunications Project Manager to lead strategic projects in the technology and connectivity sector. The role is fully remote, based in Ecuador, and operates on a freelance/contract basis. The ideal candidate is performance‑oriented, proactive in driving improvements, and comfortable adapting to fast‑changing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and execution of strategic telecommunications projects.
• Coordinate timelines, terms, and expectations with clients and vendors.
• Monitor key performance indicators and ensure high‑quality project deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Act as liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain clear communication.

Required profile

• Higher education in Telecommunications or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Proven project management experience, preferably in telecommunications or technology.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and PMBOK standards.
• Proficiency with Jira, Trello, and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead diverse teams.
