Senior Full Stack Developer – Remote (Freelance)

About the role

GBS International, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer on a freelance, remote basis, based in Ecuador. The role involves ownership of projects across web, mobile, desktop, APIs and databases, using C# and .NET to deliver scalable solutions for global users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy highly scalable distributed solutions across the full stack.
• Lead feature development and infrastructure enhancements from concept to production.
• Maintain application performance, uptime and scalability while ensuring high code quality.
• Participate in agile software development cycles, including analysis, testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and cross‑functional teams to build reliable APIs and optimize UX/UI for mobile and browsers.
• Represent the software department in meetings, demos and incident response.
• Guide team members, contribute to documentation and support continuous learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced English communication skills (oral and written).
• Strong analytical, conceptual thinking and proven commitment delivery.
• Excellent planning, organization and time‑management abilities.
