QA Functional Engineer

About the role

Applaudo is looking for a QA Functional Engineer who is passionate about delivering high‑quality digital experiences. You will work across web, mobile and eCommerce platforms, ensuring that applications meet both functional and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and maintain functional test cases and scenarios.
• Validate application functionality for web, mobile and eCommerce solutions against business requirements.
• Perform API testing and verify integrations using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Conduct regression, integration, exploratory and end‑to‑end testing.
• Identify, document, track and support the resolution of defects.
• Collaborate with Product, Development and UX/UI teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Validate user experiences on mobile devices, large‑screen interfaces, kiosks or POS‑style screens.
• Support quality activities related to peripheral integrations such as barcode scanners and printers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in functional software quality assurance.
• Proven experience testing web, mobile or eCommerce applications.
• Experience designing, executing and maintaining test cases and scenarios.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and defect‑management skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
