About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Expert to join our client’s team on a remote contractor basis. The role involves reviewing image and video content that touches on legal subjects and crafting sophisticated, domain‑specific questions that test deep legal knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Examine a wide range of multimedia content to identify underlying legal issues and concepts.
• Develop complex, thought‑provoking questions that require genuine legal expertise to answer.
• Tag and categorize each task with the appropriate legal category and sub‑category for accurate routing.
• Collaborate with a community of domain experts by providing original legal questions for peer review.
• Incorporate peer feedback and question ratings to continuously improve question quality and difficulty.
• Maintain strict attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and ethical standards in all annotation tasks.

Required profile

• Advanced legal knowledge with proven experience in legal practice, analysis, or academia.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex legal issues presented visually or through multimedia.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills applied to legal scenarios.
• Experience creating exam‑level or practical case‑study questions in the legal field.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot nuanced legal issues.
• Ability to work independently and meet quality benchmarks in a remote setting.
