Functional Expert

About the role

SoftwareOne is looking for a Functional Expert to lead technology initiatives by aligning multidisciplinary teams with strategic business objectives. You will coordinate projects, promote best practices, and ensure efficient delivery of solutions in agile environments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and guide technical teams to meet business requirements, standards, and technology guidelines.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, tracking risks, dependencies, and blockers throughout project execution.
• Support solution implementation, ensuring adherence to policies, processes, and technology standards.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, requirement tracking, and validation of project progress and deliverables.
• Contribute to planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement of technology initiatives, supporting decision‑making and operational team management.

Required profile

• Academic background in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related fields.
• Knowledge of technology project coordination, requirements management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with agile methodologies, risk management, initiative tracking, and business‑technology alignment.
• Understanding of process management, change control, continuous improvement, and technology initiative administration.
• Intermediate English proficiency and experience in corporate environments, including vendor and team management.
