AI-Assisted Node.js Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an AI‑first Backend Engineer who will combine deep Node.js expertise with cutting‑edge AI coding assistants to deliver high‑impact backend solutions. The position is fully remote and focuses on building, optimizing, and deploying services in heavily containerized environments.

Key responsibilities

• Break down high‑level tickets and product ideas into detailed implementation plans using AI tools.
• Guide AI assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot) to generate code, then review, refine, and complete the solutions.
• Develop backend services with Node.js and Express.js.
• Debug, profile, and optimize applications for memory usage, performance, and logging.
• Design and maintain databases in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Deploy and manage services in Docker‑based container environments.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and hands‑on experience with Express.js.
• Experience using AI coding assistants integrated into the IDE.
• Solid debugging skills, including memory management, performance tuning, and logging.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Docker.
• Advanced English communication skills.
