Agentic Software Engineer (Cursor) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

Join FullStackFullStack's talent network and work on flexible, project‑based assignments for U.S. clients as an Agentic Software Engineer specializing in the Cursor development environment. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to deliver AI‑augmented software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate directly into client teams and contribute to daily development activities.
• Use Cursor as the primary IDE to coordinate AI‑driven code generation across large, multi‑file systems.
• Maintain architectural oversight while AI generates the majority of implementation code.
• Design and iterate AI‑first development workflows from specification through deployment.
• Conduct disciplined human‑in‑the‑loop reviews and risk‑adjusted validation for critical features.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support asynchronous collaboration.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep understanding of full‑stack architectures (Java, Python, C#, React, Node, etc.).
• Extensive experience using Cursor for AI‑driven implementation.
• Proven ability to translate complex product requirements into AI‑friendly specifications.
• Strong context‑engineering skills and a curiosity for emerging AI‑native practices.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and availability to work 40 hours per week.
