About the role

We are looking for a passionate 1st Grade Teacher to join Colegio Menor Quito, a private PG‑12 liberal arts school that offers an English immersion programme. You will help build intelligent, well‑rounded thinkers by delivering a customized, inclusive learning experience in a safe and happy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the English‑immersion curriculum for 1st‑grade students.
• Create customized learning experiences that reflect the school’s values of goodness, beauty and truth.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom that respects all races, abilities, religions, genders and cultures.
• Participate in the school’s safeguarding procedures and undergo required background checks.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices.

Required profile

• Qualified primary‑education teacher with experience teaching young learners.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
• Willingness to work in a diverse, multicultural environment.
• Ability to undergo national and international vetting procedures.
