Technical Service Specialist – CT Systems

About the role

As a Technical Service Specialist for CT Systems, you will deliver Guardian and Predictive (PROA) remote monitoring services for CT equipment across the United States and Canada. You act as the operational backbone of a contractual service, ensuring proactive care for every Guardian‑contracted CT scanner and preventing disruptions that could affect patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and triage real‑time Guardian and PROA events (Sc0/Sc1/Sc2) using remote diagnostic platforms such as SRS, HPOV, and PEAK.
• Translate predictive findings into clear dispatch instructions for field service engineers, schedulers, and customer care teams.
• Track dispatch rates, premature closures, and event accuracy to drive continuous improvement.
• Produce success stories and non‑event reports that quantify prevented disruptions.
• Collaborate with regional service managers, customer service engineers, dispatchers, and global engineering teams to share best practices.

Required profile

• Strong technical background with deep knowledge of CT platforms, especially the SOMATOM family.
• Ability to analyze clinical and technical data to assess risk and urgency.
• Excellent communication skills to act as the bridge between remote intelligence and on‑site execution.
• Proactive mindset focused on preventing issues before they impact patients.
