About the role

We are seeking a passionate Spanish Teacher to join Colegio Menor Quito, a private PG‑12 liberal arts school that blends an English immersion programme with a strong commitment to the values of goodness, beauty and truth. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality Spanish language instruction to students across primary and secondary levels, fostering communicative competence and cultural awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging Spanish lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and support the English immersion environment.
• Participate in extracurricular activities, clubs or language events that promote Spanish culture.
• Maintain accurate records, lesson plans and classroom resources.
• Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies and complete required vetting procedures.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a recognised Spanish language teaching credential or equivalent experience.
• Commitment to an inclusive, multicultural learning community.
• Willingness to undergo national and international background checks.
• Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.
