Software Engineer – Product Development

About the role

A Software Engineer in Product Development applies a systematic approach to the development, delivery, maintenance, and operation of software products and services. The role collaborates across the business to understand customer needs and deliver high‑value solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively in all SDLC activities such as planning, stand‑up, and story time.
• Develop using Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI) practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, QA, Experience Design and other technical staff to refine requirements and designs.
• Work on cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions from inception through customer delivery.
• Improve processes, standards and practices, and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 6‑12 months of relevant software engineering experience.
• Ability to work independently on small tasks and as part of a team on complex stories.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to triage simple engineering escalations.
