SOC 2 Associate Manager – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

Insight Assurance is seeking a remote SOC 2 Associate Manager to lead audit engagements for clients across Latin America. The role involves managing SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, and related cybersecurity assessments while ensuring high‑quality delivery and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day activities of IT audit engagements (SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, SOC for cybersecurity).
• Evaluate design and effectiveness of technology controls and communicate findings to management.
• Identify performance‑improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients and internal teams, including participation in client meetings.
• Supervise and manage performance of audit staff on assigned engagements.
• Prepare weekly status reports and flag potential issues to senior management.
• Train junior audit staff on methodologies and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity, or management information systems.
• Minimum 4 years of experience performing IT audit engagements at a Big 4 or comparable audit/consulting firm.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• High motivation and strong analytical mindset.

Required skills

• Familiarity with GRC and compliance automation tools such as Vanta, Drata, and Secureframe (preferred).
• Knowledge of SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 frameworks and related security standards.
