Senior Software Engineer – .NET Framework (Monolith / Production Support)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our US‑based team and support a mature, large‑scale SaaS platform serving K‑12 nutrition programs. The role focuses on production support, debugging, and incremental feature development within an existing .NET Framework monolith.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve production issues, bugs, and performance problems.
• Develop and enhance features across the backend and, when needed, the Angular frontend.
• Debug across multiple layers: API, business logic, data access, SQL Server stored procedures, and Hangfire background jobs.
• Read complex call stacks and logs to pinpoint root causes.
• Collaborate with the existing team in an embedded staff‑augmentation model.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with C# on .NET Framework 4.x.
• Deep knowledge of ASP.NET Web API and OWIN middleware.
• Solid expertise in SQL Server, including writing and debugging complex T‑SQL stored procedures.
• Proficiency with Entity Framework 6.
• Frontend experience with modern Angular (2+).
• Proven ability to work in large, long‑lived monolithic applications and multi‑layered architectures.
• Excellent debugging skills, log analysis, and understanding of background processing (Hangfire).
