Senior Java Developer (Spring, AWS, Microservices) – Remote in Ecuador

About the role

Globant is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join its digital transformation team. You will work remotely from Ecuador, collaborating with global partners to design and deliver AI‑enhanced digital products that connect businesses and consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based microservices using Spring Boot.
• Integrate solutions with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the evolution of AI‑driven features within Globant’s product portfolio.

Required profile

• Fluent English (B2 – Upper Intermediate) or higher.
• Senior‑level experience in Java development, preferably in a global or remote setting.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality software.
