Senior IT/GRC Auditor – SOC 2 (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior IT/GRC Auditor to lead SOC 2, SOC 1 and HIPAA compliance engagements for our LATAM clients. The role is fully remote and will involve guiding junior staff, interacting directly with customers, and delivering high‑quality audit reports and readiness assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IT General Controls (ITGC) and application control testing for SOC 2, SOC 1 and HIPAA projects.
• Guide and review work performed by junior team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with methodology.
• Conduct walkthroughs, perform testing, and document findings and remediation recommendations.
• Identify control gaps, propose remediation actions, and communicate results to clients.
• Maintain proactive client communication, provide progress updates, and escalate issues as needed.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience performing IT audits with a focus on ITGC and application controls.
• Strong knowledge of SOC 2 and related compliance frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MIS, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Excellent client communication and project management abilities.
• Fluent in English (bilingual requirement).

Required skills

• SOC 2, SOC 1, HIPAA frameworks.
• IT General Controls (ITGC) and application control testing.
• Experience with GRC automation tools such as Vanta, Drata or Secureframe.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, GCP.
