Senior Full Stack Java Engineer (Java + Angular)

About the role

You will join a mature, customer‑facing product team and own features end‑to‑end in a modern full‑stack environment built with Java 21, Spring Boot and Angular. Your work will have immediate impact on real users and critical business workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and debug new product features across the backend API layer and Angular frontend within an established monolithic codebase.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs using Java 21/Spring Boot, PostgreSQL (MyBatis) and Liquibase for schema migrations.
• Implement Redis‑based caching and session‑management strategies.
• Build reactive Angular 19 components with RxJS, adhering to UI/UX standards.
• Write comprehensive unit and end‑to‑end tests for critical business logic.
• Utilise AWS services (S3, ECS, CloudWatch, Bedrock) for storage, deployment and observability.
• Communicate risks, complexity and timeline changes proactively during Agile ceremonies and client‑facing discussions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 21, Spring Boot patterns and Angular (v14+).
• Proficient with PostgreSQL, SQL optimisation, and ORM tools such as MyBatis or Hibernate.
• Hands‑on experience with Redis and AWS cloud services.
• Demonstrated testing discipline and accurate effort estimation.
• Highly self‑managed with excellent English communication skills.
