SCADA Technician (Japanese)

About the role

Vestas is seeking a bilingual SCADA Technician to support our wind power plants across the APAC region. You will act as the on‑site SCADA ambassador, providing technical documentation, troubleshooting, and after‑hours standby for medium and large wind farms.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for SCADA installations.
• Provide input for task, parts, and tools lists.
• Support SCADA engineers on‑site and during after‑hours standby periods.
• Serve as the SCADA liaison between customers, service teams, and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Technical education in IT, electronics or a related field.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server operating systems and SQL databases.
• Proficiency with C4C, TSL, MS Office, SAP and Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel regionally and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Fluent in English and Japanese (N2 level or higher).
