Remote Spanish Interpreter (Contract)

About the role

Propio Language Services is seeking experienced Spanish interpreters to join its remote OnDemand platform, PropioONE. This contract role allows you to provide high‑quality interpretation services to a diverse client base from anywhere.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive, first‑person interpretation for remote sessions.
• Follow Propio interpreter protocols and client‑specific procedures.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and ethical standards.
• Continuously expand vocabulary and subject‑matter knowledge in medical, legal, and social‑service domains.

Required profile

• Updated resume in English submitted at application.
• English language proficiency at ILR level 3 or higher (technical proficiency).
• Successful completion of a mock oral interpretation assessment meeting 24 quality standards.
• Pass the online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology assessment.
• Clear background check and security screening.
• Signed commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance.

Required skills

• Spanish language fluency for interpretation.
• English language proficiency (ILR 3+).
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
