Remote Node.js Developer

About the role

INDI is looking for a seasoned Node.js developer to join its fully remote engineering team. You will help design and build high‑performance backend systems while collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑moving early‑stage startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable backend services using best practices.
• Design, extend, and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Deliver new features rapidly and iterate based on feedback.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and monitor analytics to ensure high quality.
• Automate workflows and develop internal tooling to boost productivity.
• Define engineering processes for product launches and releases.
• Participate in technical interviews to grow the engineering team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Node.js development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, micro‑services, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
