Ramp Agent – Ground Operations Specialist

About the role

FedEx is seeking a Ramp Agent‑4 to support front‑line ground operations at its Ecuador hub. The role blends office‑based administrative duties with hands‑on ramp activities to ensure safe, efficient aircraft loading, unloading, and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate local ground operations, including aircraft marshaling, loading, and unloading.
• Complete all paperwork, manifests, and weight‑and‑balance calculations accurately and on time.
• Inspect and operate ground equipment, ensuring safety and proper usage.
• Manage flight delays, cancellations, overflows, and re‑routes in coordination with contractors.
• Maintain regulatory documentation, including TSA, DG, and airport security requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to cargo handling staff.
• Ensure hazardous materials are correctly labeled, loaded, and documented.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years of airport ramp or aircraft ground support experience.
• Proficiency in English (minimum 600 TOEIC score).
• In Ecuador, a valid aircraft dispatcher license.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 75 lb (up to 150 lb with equipment).

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
