Python/Django Software Engineer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Python/Django Software Engineer to join our talent network and work on U.S. client projects remotely from Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s development team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to deliver high‑quality backend solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python/Django applications for production environments.
• Design, implement, and scale distributed systems using micro‑services architecture.
• Work with PostgreSQL, as well as other SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Deploy and manage services on AWS, leveraging Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and Helm, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Build event‑driven solutions using Kafka or Kinesis and secure authentication with OAuth/OIDC.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to code reviews and technical documentation.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to work 40 hours per week remotely.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ownership of deliverables.
