About the role

The school is seeking an Educational Psychologist to lead its DECE department and support students with diverse learning needs. The professional will work on‑site in Quito, collaborating with teachers, families and school leadership to promote academic and emotional wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and diagnoses to identify learning needs, cognitive abilities and specific disorders such as dyslexia or ADHD.
• Design and implement psycho‑educational intervention plans and adaptive teaching strategies for students with special needs or behavioral challenges.
• Provide guidance and resources to teachers and administrators for managing classroom diversity and improving instructional techniques.
• Offer family counseling and practical advice to parents to support their children’s emotional health and academic performance at home.
• Conduct vocational and career counseling to help students explore interests and plan future academic or professional pathways.

Required profile

• Third‑level degree in Educational Psychology.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience.
• Age between 30 and 45 years.
• Proficiency in English.
