Operador/a de Producción Temporal – Planta Durán

About the role

This temporary position (6 months) is based at Cargill's production plant in Durán, Ecuador. The operator works on a rotating 4x2 shift schedule, handling the preparation, dosing, and processing of micro‑ingredients while ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and dose micro‑ingredients according to formula percentages.
• Weigh micro‑ingredients and record batch reports.
• Maintain minimum inventory of micro‑ingredients on the shop floor.
• Operate production equipment, including mixers, computerized control systems, and basic machine adjustments.
• Load and unload bagged raw material, supervise mixing processes, and perform routine maintenance.
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and industrial vacuums.
• Follow all safety policies, keep the work area clean, and monitor work pace.

Required profile

• Ability to work on a rotating 4x2 shift schedule (7 am‑7 pm / 7 pm‑7 am).
• Willingness to work onsite at the Durán plant for a six‑month fixed‑term contract.
• Commitment to safety procedures and clean‑room standards.
