Node Developer - Remote Work

About the role

INDI is looking for a seasoned Node Developer to join its fully remote engineering team. You will help shape backend architecture, deliver high‑impact features quickly, and contribute to a culture of code excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend systems using best‑practice patterns.
• Develop, extend, and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced early‑stage startup environment.
• Write clean, testable code and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Automate workflows, build tooling, and improve engineering productivity.
• Define and refine engineering processes for product launches and releases.
• Participate in technical interviews to grow the engineering team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Node.js development experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands‑on experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms.
• Advanced understanding of algorithms, data structures, and IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency with agile methodologies and SOLID design principles.
• Fluent English communication skills.
