Mid-Level Golang Engineer – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

Join FullStackFullStack's talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on flexible, project‑based assignments as a Mid‑Level Golang Engineer. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Go services using idiomatic package design, goroutines, channels and the standard testing toolchain.
• Build and operate distributed systems, including message‑broker integrations (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS) with delivery guarantees and replay handling.
• Containerize applications and manage workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, writing manifests and debugging live services.
• Create both RESTful and gRPC APIs and establish reusable testing patterns for the team.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Tekton, Argo, Jenkins X, Spinnaker, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and developer tooling.
• Implement observability using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus or comparable stacks.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands‑on Go development.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Production experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
