Microbiology Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Microbiology Analyst to join our manufacturing and global operations team. The role supports product quality by performing microbiological testing and monitoring across production areas and the laboratory.

Key responsibilities

• Collect water, environmental, equipment, compressed air and nitrogen samples in production areas according to monitoring plans.
• Conduct microbiological analyses of water, raw materials, packaging, semi‑finished, stability and finished products.
• Prepare culture media and perform growth‑promotion testing to assess microbiological quality.
• Verify and validate microbiological analytical methods.
• Develop protocols, reports and documentation for validated methods.
• Operate specialized microbiology equipment used in control processes.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology or a related field with a valid professional license/registration.
• Intermediate English proficiency for inspections and site visits.
• 1–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in non‑sterile product manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of microbiological analytical methods, critical utility monitoring and method validation.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
• Assertive communication skills to drive improvements.
