Mechanical Engineer Expert – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer Expert to develop high‑quality multiple‑choice assessment items for AI training applications. This fully remote contract position involves translating advanced mechanical engineering concepts into clear, pedagogically sound questions.

Key responsibilities

• Create single‑choice questions covering solid & structural mechanics, dynamics & vibration & control, or thermal‑fluids.
• Ensure technical rigor, relevance, and real‑world applicability of all content.
• Document rationales and explanations for each answer choice to support AI datasets.
• Collaborate with project coordinators, adhere to delivery milestones, and conduct quality checks based on feedback.
• Maintain precise records of assignments and submissions using provided digital tools.

Required profile

• PhD or MSc in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in solid & structural mechanics, dynamics & vibration & control, or thermal‑fluids.
• Proven ability to translate complex engineering principles into clear written content.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in educational content creation, assessment design, or technical writing is highly desirable.
• Meticulous attention to detail and self‑motivated work ethic in a remote setting.
