Logistics Sales Assistant

A high-performance, client-focused firm is looking for a detail-oriented Sales Support Coordinator to join its client's team in the international logistics and freight forwarding industry. The role supports the sales process by preparing freight quotations, coordinating shipments, maintaining customer communication and assisting with daily sales operations. It suits someone with previous experience in ocean and air freight who understands logistics processes and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the sales team with daily administrative and operational tasks.
• Prepare and follow up on freight quotations for ocean and air shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders and logistics partners.
• Assist in tracking shipments and provide status updates to customers.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation in the CRM.
• Respond to client inquiries about logistics services and shipping rates.
• Ensure timely communication between internal teams and customers.
• Help manage sales pipelines and follow up on pending opportunities.
• Provide general administrative support to the commercial team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, transportation or international shipping.
• Knowledge of ocean freight and air freight operations.
• Familiarity with freight quotations, shipping rates and logistics documentation.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a remote environment.
• Preferred: experience supporting a logistics or freight sales team, knowledge of import/export processes, experience with freight carriers, and a customer-facing or sales support background.
