Loan Officer Assistant

About the role

Vertu Agent is seeking a detail‑oriented Loan Officer Assistant to support mortgage loan officers throughout the loan lifecycle. You will handle administrative, operational, and client‑communication tasks, ensuring each file progresses smoothly from application to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Set up new loan files and gather initial borrower documentation.
• Maintain accurate records in the Loan Origination System (LOS).
• Communicate with borrowers about documentation requests and loan status updates.
• Track loan conditions from application through Clear to Close.
• Coordinate with processors, underwriters, title companies, and other third parties.
• Manage follow‑ups to meet deadlines and keep files moving forward.
• Support loan officers with calendar coordination and other administrative tasks.
• Provide light marketing support, such as organizing activities or creating simple materials.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting mortgage loan officers or in mortgage operations.
• Strong written and spoken English (C1/C2 level).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple files simultaneously.
• Understanding of mortgage documentation and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Experience with GoHighLevel (GHL).
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, Drive).
• Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems such as Encompass, Calyx, Byte, or similar.

What we offer

• Compensation: $1,200 – $1,400 per month.
• Benefits: 10 days off per year, 3 sick days, and 6 US Federal holidays.
