Leasing Consultant – New Lease‑up Property

About the role

TRG Management is seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to join the team for its newest lease‑up, The Shorebird. You will work closely with the property management team to deliver exceptional service to prospective and current residents.

Key responsibilities

• Interview prospective tenants while complying with Fair Housing Standards.
• Tour model apartments, explain layouts, amenities, services, and lease terms.
• Prepare lease agreements, collect security deposits, and ensure all paperwork is complete.
• Inspect property conditions periodically and coordinate essential maintenance.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date list of available units and identify potential prospects.
• Manage the full leasing and renewal process from application to move‑in.
• Answer incoming calls and voicemails promptly and professionally.
• Process applications, conduct credit and rental‑history checks, and submit for manager approval.
• Follow up with candidates on application status and coordinate move‑in dates.
• Track local market trends and update property comparables.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, or conventional/multifamily real estate.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and presentation abilities.
• Experience in concierge, front‑desk, or guest‑services roles is a plus.
• Previous leasing experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
