Laboratory Technician – Production Enhancement (Francisco de Orellana)

About the role

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Production Enhancement team in Francisco de Orellana, Ecuador. The role supports research and development of new and improved products, processes and procedures for the global energy industry.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the chemical hygiene plan and HSE laboratory safety standards under direct supervision.
• Conduct routine research and experimentation as directed by scientific leaders.
• Document experiments, results and designs in laboratory notebooks and reports.
• Communicate with technical client personnel and respond to customer needs.
• Participate in professional societies and contribute to cost‑containment and efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• At least two years of experience with analysis techniques and result interpretation.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
