Junior Guest Relations Officer (Shipboard)

About the role

The Junior Guest Relations Officer is the primary point of contact for guests aboard the ship, ensuring every interaction is seamless, memorable, and aligned with premium service standards. Working within the Guest Relations team, you will act as the liaison between guests and all hotel and marine departments, proactively anticipating needs and delivering personalized experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a constant professional presence and emergency preparedness within stateroom services.
• Respond to escalated guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and timely solutions.
• Track and analyze guest interaction metrics such as call volume, content, and sentiment.
• Communicate inventory, program access, and maintenance requirements for work areas and tools.
• Lead by example, upholding cleanliness, orderliness, and respectful treatment of all guests and crew.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of front‑desk or receptionist experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Clear, courteous English communication; additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German) are a plus.
• Strong hospitality mindset, organizational abilities, and decision‑making skills.
• Attention to detail and accountability for guest satisfaction.
