International Sales & Marketing Director

About the role

We are a fast‑growing biotech startup rooted in the biodiverse cloud forest of Mindo, Ecuador. We seek an International Sales & Marketing Director to lead our commercial expansion into North American and European markets, championing our premium botanical products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global sales strategy across B2B, B2C and D2C channels.
• Build and manage high‑performing sales teams in target regions.
• Identify and secure partnerships with distributors, retailers and brand collaborators.
• Oversee CRM implementation and multichannel commercial operations.
• Collaborate with R&D and marketing to align product positioning with market demand.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Post‑graduate studies in Commercial Management, Strategic Management or Business Development (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience leading commercial teams as a Sales Director or Sales Manager in the US and/or European markets.
• Proven background in functional foods, supplements, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, wellness or health‑related industries.
• Fluent English (non‑negotiable).
