Internal Sales Specialist – Student Retention & Collections

About the role

We are seeking an Internal Sales Specialist to drive student retention and ensure timely monthly payments for our online technology bootcamps. You will proactively contact students, resolve payment issues, and help prevent drop‑outs while supporting their learning journey.

Key responsibilities

• Collect recurring payments on schedule and meet collection targets.
• Address payment‑related concerns, handle objections, and guide students to maintain enrollment.
• Identify at‑risk students, conduct proactive outreach, and implement retention strategies.
• Maintain accurate interaction records and follow‑up activities in the CRM.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and enhance the student experience.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish (C1 level or higher).
• 2+ years of experience in sales, retention, collections, customer success or consultative sales.
• Strong communication, persuasion and objection‑handling abilities.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to manage sensitive conversations with empathy.
• Results‑driven mindset with proven ability to meet performance targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Experience using Notion, Miro and Google Workspace.
