About the role

We are seeking a passionate Health & Metacognition Teacher to join Colegio Menor Quito, a private PG‑12 liberal arts school that operates under the Nord Anglia Education umbrella. The role involves delivering engaging health education and fostering metacognitive skills within an English‑immersion environment, helping students become intelligent, well‑rounded thinkers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons in health and metacognition.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary approaches.
• Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies and ensure a safe, inclusive classroom.
• Participate in professional development and school community activities.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with experience in health education and an understanding of metacognitive strategies.
• Commitment to the school’s values of goodness, beauty, and truth.
• Ability to teach in an English‑immersion setting.
