Go/Golang Developer – Remote Contract

About the role

Join a cutting‑edge team to evaluate and train next‑generation AI coding tools in highly confidential alpha stages. This part‑time, fully remote contract is ideal for experienced Go developers who love technical exploration and advancing AI‑powered code.

Key responsibilities

• Develop REST and GraphQL endpoints using a modern Go stack.
• Perform rigorous data validation, comprehensive error handling, and database migrations.
• Optimize performance of backend services and conduct testing of AI models in Cursor during intensive 4‑day, 5+ hour daily bursts.
• Identify, document, and report incidents, bugs, and edge cases with detailed notes and screenshots.
• Collaborate with the research team via Slack, providing real‑time feedback and insights.
• Complete structured surveys on model usability after each testing session.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Golang developer.
• Strong command of Go, REST APIs, GraphQL, and backend development best practices.
• Experience with AI‑powered coding tools, preferably Cursor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for hands‑on coding, rapid prototyping, and technical curiosity.
• Ability to document findings thoroughly without disclosing confidential information.
